Summary
In May 2025 Live Streams sponsored the training of the 6th cohort of ten participants in Nature Tanzania’s Biodiversity Monitoring Training & Mentoring Program (BiMO). BiMO is a two-week training course for young conservationists in Tanzania. Students, early career researchers and staff in conservation organizations learn ecological techniques through hands-on learning in the field. The activities take place in the Amani Forest Nature Reserve, a globally important hotspot for biodiversity of fauna and flora. Following extremely positive feedback from participants we agreed to provide additional support in 2026. This enabled a further ten young conservationists, five mean and five women, to acquire new skills to apply in their work. See more
