We provide small grants to grass roots organisations and educational institutions in Tanzania and Malawi. The purpose of the grants is to assist local communities to conserve the fragile habitats in which they live, whilst also enhancing their livelihood opportunities. The grants are also designed to enable students and early career researchers in the two countries to gain practical experience which which will help them in their future work. There are no open calls for proposals and grantees are identified through the guidance of in-country advisors.
